  • I would like to thank my good friend for sending me to your videos . I've just recently discovered you as a performer and I think you have an amazing voice and it's a disgrace that the entertainment industry has treated you so poorly over your career, I hope this gives you confidence that I respect you as a performer of great class, a fantastic version of (You'll Never Walk Alone) Best Wishes From South Australia.

  • best voice ever,

  • My sister had a sign that said "PJ, Probe Me!", lol

  • @EntertainUWithStyle I don't think you are actually speaking to the real Proby :(

I might be wrong, but as I get it, this jimproby is just an avid proby fan

    - Best wishes from Victoria, OZ ;)

  • OK....IM A LITTLE CONFUSED...so pardon me....Im a youtube fanatic.. and a certified elvis nut ...i was cruising the tube and looking for the new sensation ANDY PROBYN,,,ME AND MY GIRLFRIEND IN AUS,,ARE CRAZY ABOUT HIM..I came across this pj proby ,,,is he a relation to ANDY...can some one please answer this question for us....thanks

  • Sorry for final typo. I was referring to Jim bringing B J Thomas, to my Mum's Vardo. B J was then resident in London, stil famous but, PJ knew my Dad was a fan, so..B J went back to a reservation in the US shortly thereafter. B J was Jimi Hendrix' cousin! No Pikey's not an Americanism -it's what the Brits used to call us. Pikey, GYpo, Didiquoit, etc. What do I care. 'No Gadje would come except this 'wild Texan & his Cherokee pal, B J Thomas plus, PP Arnold & sundry folk.'

  • @professormaynard1

what are Pikeys ? is it American for gypsy's... and what do you mean by half-cherokee ?

  • I was his friend, Music Director/Lead Trumpet for years, right through the 'Catch My Soul' era, until I moved to NYC. My dad was very ill & in a hospital. PJ offered to visit. I warned him we were Pikeys, he'd have to go to southall -a rough ethnic Ghetto -so he came. Then, he visited my Mum, in her Vardo - in a Camp. No Gadje would come except this half-Cherokee!

  • @princeofswine

Nothing i can do about a noisy pub , theres a link on my page and under 3 of my videos...click it and hey presto....live home recordings minus public , oh by the way.... its called vibrato not warbling, and PJ's is brilliant, he uses it on the right songs and sings without when rocking up. many so called greats can't do that.

  • @theBESTelvis Checked your site ,you need to record one good song in a studio with out clinking glasses and bottles and then listen to it back and put that up on site ,listened to daddy done a bad bad thing ,now thats what you call good entertainment, well done for that one

  • @rontenn

This song , Maria , Somewhere , I apologies, I Believe & many more are better by PJ than anyone else.

Why can't these muppets just see it for themselves i ask !!
