sounds like my odyssey. it made the exact same sound for 8 years before giving out. i kind of liked that sound.. sounded like it was gonna take off

mine sounds like this at 174,000 on its orignal transmission. it does a nice smooth 88 on the highway still

@Motorchevytoyota Correction...Honda AUTO transmissions suck a fat one. The manual trannies are pretty good. Got almost 300k on mine...

@poisonleech if it ruins a motor or transmission i have seen no evidence of it and have torn an engine down if it ruint engines and transmissions im sure it would of done it by now in those 7 years used it since day one now have 128000 miles and no problems i think people just had a bad motor or tranny to start with and tried the lucas and it was so far gone the lucas or nothing period was going to help it and it went out anyway so they blamed the lucas

theres alott of members on Acurazine that have used different type of fluids other than the factory one and have had good results, you should check it out.

@platano12356 I've only used Honda ATFZ1. The latest transmission is showing signs of torque converter shudder (wobbling between certain gears) so after this transmission, I will probably replace the car even though nothing else has ever given me trouble!
