im a DIE HARD Face to Face and Descendents fan and Tim and the Band did great covers of real punk songs---so much so that I think Tims been holding out---i didntr like RA at first but now i love them--def punk as fuck
-
@l0nd0nlad7 because rise against was a hardcore band?!?! :D
-
@l0nd0nlad7 There's actually a good reason behind them "selling out". Tim actually didn't entirely want to, he and the band did it so they could spread their message to those who needed to hear it the most. Most of RA's original fans from their first 2 albums knew the issues. Those who werent fans NEEDED to be informed. I had heard that the song voices off camera off their second album (Last independent one) was about Tim trying to decide.

BLACK MOTHERFUCKING FLAG FOR THE WIN

BLAAACK FLAAAAG FUCK YEAH

God damn... Such a simple solution to all idiots who argue against the artist on the video: Don't watch it. Not that hard. But I suppose it is if you're an idiot. If you know you don't like Rise Against, listen to Black Flag instead.

@teddydemin the black flag split was in 2009 if that answers your questions, i dont know the names of blakc flags bandmembers aside form a few
-
@jsh020 just wondering, which band members? lol black flag went through a lot of changes
-
he doesn't have the voice for it

@SuperCadet1 But if there was a song with the bassline of Pete, the vocals of Tim Mcilrath and the guitar and drumming from Blackflag then I'm pretty sure it would be epic.
black flag is better than rise against. but i think its cool that a farely mainstream band is playing a hardcore bands song. if they want to why not?

fall out boy can play fall out boy shit, I don't care. But if they ever tried to play Black Flag, they would bring shame to the mighty Black Flag. Black Flag would kick FOBs asses then do it again.
