When words like theocracy and imposed are levied at you, instead of changing subjects, use it as a teaching moment. Tell your interlocutor about why the West has thrived.

Nonsense. All of the Christian GOP candidates have made it perfectly clear that they will impose their chosen believes (regarding gays and abortion) on the rest of Americans by passing Constitution amendments to further erode people's freedoms. Newt Gingrich even said that he would veto any federal judge that voted against his beliefs. He added that he would arrest them, and bring them in front of the Senate for an inquisition. That sounds a lot like a theocracy, doesn't it?

@mydh122 Men are very promiscuous. Gay or straight, the difference is that most gay men can get access to sex easier then straight men. I have been with the same person for one year. My brother who is is straight has had a new Girlfriend every few months, and has sex with any girl he finds attractive.

If there are two guys who have a homosexual attraction to each other, but don't engage in homosexual activity. Christians have no problem with that. Everyone has different temtations, but we are not animals who have to give in to our every desire. The FACTS are that gay men, in general, are very promiscuous. Studies have been done that show that most gay men have had over 300 different sex partners over their lifetime. They're sluts, and their behavior creates and spreads disease and death.
