Easy Untethered Jailbreak for iPod Touch 2nd Gen 2.2.1 Firmware

You won't lose any stuff, only gain cydia. If you follow the steps it will work perfect.
*Note* if your stuck on the booting screen for too long, put it back in DFU mode and retry jailbreak or press reset in iTunes.

The difference between unthethered and tethered is that on a tethered jailbreak you have to re-jailbreak every time you completly turn it off or runs out of battery. But untethered will stay jailbroken no matter what.

its a little late but if you just put it in DFU mode again and run the jailbreak it will work again. A lot of times it will get stuck there.

There is no way the 3rd gen ipod touch is on 2.2.1. Its first release came with 3.1.1. But look up blackra1n (I have a video on it). thats the jailbreak for you.
