  • Who asimo? the austronaut :-))) lol

  • after reading about this, honda said that they had just recorded the conductors movements ahead of time, so it walked up there, but it was just conducting from memory that had been programmed into it, so they had to record the conductors previous performance of that song

  • Your doomed.... your all doomed! ;)

  • Wow, the first time i see a robot direct a orchest, in the future it will incredible!

    Asimo you are the best!

  • oh ya maybe, i dont wanna sound like i know everything lol cuz i barely know anything about robots... i'm just like obsessed with asimo so i've read a lot that he can be pre programed to do stuff like in the video by himself

  • Thanks, I appreciate what you say, but I wondered whether they had advanced that capability to include arm movements, in which case, the programming to articulate the arm movements to conduct an orchestra would be fairly straightforward if you don't include realtime alterations.

  • wow of course not... remote control, artificial intelligence isn't that advanced... and probably never will be... Asimo IS with his own programming, doing something already very complicated which is adjusting his steps in REAL TIME which is like a big step

  • I wonder whether this is true programming, or is it being run by remote control ?

  • Note to Japanese robot engineers... linear interpolation isn't the only one! There are others...

  • It's Gary Coleman in a space suit.
