You right, he was given all the oppurtunities to be successful but idk what happened....he had the recruits, the facilities everything....i guess he didnt coach him well enough

he never played football in his life. He started out as a video geek who worked his way up the ranks. Was brainwashed by Parcells and Belichick and never understood the college game.. He doesn't understand the college game and he tried to run ND football like a pro team. It doesn'twork that way. He awas all talk and turned the team in to a bunch of pussies. Being a great coach like Holtz was something he could never comprehend. His practices were cakewalks compare to Holtz's.

How is it stupid? Look at his off-field accomplishments. He's also an alum, for crying out loud. As a representative of Notre Dame, he was perfect. As a game-day coach, he was far from it.

To be fair, Weis, for all intents and purposes, was the right guy. He's just for some reason not gotten it done.
