I've finished learning it now, took me from the day I sent you my original message to now! I'm still trying to get 2 perfect, I struggle in the few measures just prior to 3, tend to fudge up some notes in compensation for speed- once I'm fixed there, I should be fine. Part 3 I've found i've memorised, and my fingering is pretty good - You're right though, it is quite difficult getting it to all fall in together perfectly. Especially in section 3

I quite like this, I'm starting to learn this piece at the moment - But what I'm finding is that, there is not really a single easy part to it at all, it's all very technical and emotional at the same time, and the crossing fingers has never been an easy technique for me.. How long did it take you to learn?
I'd say it took about 30 hours. But, I still needed a lot of work on the last two pages when I recorded this. I also played it when I was young too so it came back to me a lot faster. The fingering is tough. I would suggest building the measures. Play 1. Then 1,2. Then 1,2,3. etc. It's time consuming but the only way to get it to the point of not thinking about it and having the fingers just fall into place.
