tillis gave tyson a boxing lesson tillis threw and landed a ton more punches. he should have got the decision. Where is Lampley stupid compu box stats in this fight
@TheCaliCapitalist Now that i can agree with....but still i always say you cant look at how he fought another fighter cause then you can bring up how foreman fucked up frazier easily than frazier fucks up ali the first time around easily(somewhat anyway) then out of the blue ali fucks up foreman...that chain never really works because its a style that would win either fighter the fight...and from docs that ive seen tysons original trainer(Cus) trained him to fight people that had ali's style...
Good point but Ali would most likely beat him because Tyson in his prime never had experience with a fighter of his calibre. I should not have called them chumps (you were right) because they would destroy the majority of fighters today. Ali Tyson would be a good fight but Tyson would have to get real close to know him out. Watch how he fought Mitch Blood Green. He won but if that were Ali it would have went a different way.
@TheCaliCapitalist hahah you say that but you really dont know who would have won....you can argue about it for the rest of your life but until they actually fight you dont know if ali would have won?? And btw its also a ridiculous thing to say that tyson only knocked out chumps...cause then you can say the same about holyfeild, lewis ECT.
@TenTonHorse I completely agree with your statement to the fullest...people making premeditated decisions about a fight that could easily go either way.
Fighters were different years ago.Particularly Ali.He actually enjoyed PLAYING with fighters and punking them.Hed put just enough on them to back them up at times when hurt but immediately back to the clowning etc.If he didnt fuck around so much he wouldnt have lost to frazier the first time.2 judges had their first fight 8-6-1.Ali couldve won if hed stayed serious. His showing off hurt him at times.I still think he won cos he controlled the tempo n threw more punches.Ali NEVER stayed down either
@TheCaliCapitalist Ali-Tyson would be great because we don't know what would happen. Furthermore, Ali competed in boxing because he understood the nobility of the sport in that anyone could be champion, no matter what was said before the fight, and that any fighter, regardless of reputation, had to prove himself in the ring. People like you who say "there's no debate" are no better than Ali's critics who said that Liston and Foreman would destroy him.
@TheCaliCapitalist Your comment is disrespectful both to boxing and to Ali himself. If there's no debate about a match-up, then what's the point in the fight occuring? Where's the fun in watching a foregone conclusion, and where's the nobility in fighting when the victor and loser are already decided before the match begins? Imagine if Ali had been banned before the first Liston fight. People similar to you would have said, "It doesn't matter, because we know Liston would destory Ali".
Tyson was tired or ill he would of went brock lesnar on the guy

Tillis survived this fight cause he fought like Ali would have. A good jab, tie him up, and move. I envisioned Ali in there. :-)
