Tuscany is named after the Etruscan people who lived here centuries before the region was conquered by ancient Rome. Over 2500 years ago, long before anybody had heard of Julius Caesar, and back when Rome was just a small town, the Etruscan civilization flourished in this part of Italy. What little we know about the Etruscans we've learned mostly from their fresco-covered tombs. • @escfromsam 15th century? My friend Kayi tribe which is an arm of Oguz Turks entered Anatolia in 1299 and they are the latest Turkic migrants who founded Ottoman State. Seldjuks entered by famous Menzikent war against Byzantium in 1071. Main reason they defeated Byzantium army was the changing sides of Kipchak and Pechenek Turks before the fight. That means Turks were in Anatolia even before 1071..much before as we see in Akhadian tablets mentioning Turukkus in Anatolia 2350 BC!!!

  • etruscans were the people from central asia, as sumirians.

  • I appreciate, that must be real hard for them to disclose the born of their civilization rooting from Turks as they've been calling them..Barbarians, Mongols..etc. Shame on you!!!
