''That's all right'' was written by blues singer, guitarist and sogwriter Arthur Crudup. Elvis recorded it on July 5, 1954 at Sun Records in Memphis with Bill Black on bass and Scotty Moore on electric guitar. It was his first commercial recording . It was also his first record played on the radio. The single did not chart nationally, but it reached #4 in Memphis. The flip side was ''Blue Moon of Kentucky''.
