@IzzieSanders Yes, they sound like they're nylons though, not a black coating on steel or nicke string, these have a mellower sound than the flatwound strings. I don't like them much personally, they're good on a fretless if you like the upright bass sound, these are the ideal strings then.
so this guy is pro and yet doesnt take into consideration muting un-played strings with the remaining two fingers of the right hand? thats kind of confusing.
lol the black beauties are soo ideal for teaching xD btw since the video is called "how to pluck the strings" could you at least hold the pick correctly? I know the way of holding it can vary a lot but ure holding it like if an ostrich was trying to use the TV remote control =.=
You can pluck the strings anywhere you want to. Plucking in different areas will make slightly different sounds too. Experiment, it's what ever is comfortable to you.
