Colonel Brandon loves Marianne despite her rejection of him. Long ago, he lost the girl he loved to tragedy. He only wishes the best happiness for Marianne even she rejects him for Willoughby, a young impervious whipper-snapper. When Willoughby hurts Marianne, she is able to see just how much of a gentleman, just how faithful and kind and just Colonel Brandon is. This video shows Marianne's growing awareness of that and how she comes to love Colonel Brandon in return. It might not sound like an epic love story but those familiar with Austen will recognize that Brandon and Marianne rank as one of her most compelling couples.

First fanvid. I worked very hard to match the clips to the lyrics. However, it might still be a tad sloppy in places.

Anyway, this fanvid is about how Marianne comes to the realization that she loves Colonel Brandon.

Dedicated to Bluann (bluesalad) who tagged me, thus setting me on the road to video-making, and to Angela (amidala2916) who gently insisted that I was capable of making fanvids when I didn't believe I had the ability to.

so Brilliant, Mark Williams and Tara Morice, I kinow Mark last time I saw him was last year when I MCed an awards ceremony in Christchurch new Zealand when he was lead singer for Dragon. this clip is amazingly sensitive and Beautiful thank you so much for it. Now I have to go and watch Strictly Ballroom and Sense and Sensibilty again.

I saw this video awhile ago, and have watched it countless times since. I'm shocked I haven't commented on this before. I absolutely LOVE this video. It is absolute perfection - I love how every time there's the line "If you fall I will catch you," Marianne is in Col. Brandon's arms.
