LOL Great video! I know the reason why the Mayan civilization failed...I give you a hint...it has NOTHING to do with Aliens. Ima give the answer in 1 week ;). My ancestors were neighbors of the Mayan. I also want to point out that not all of the Mayan cities were abandoned. The one in Guatemala were still running and fighting amongst each other and a few in the Yucatan had people living in it. My ancestors were still trading with the Pocomam :D.

You are, of course, correct, the northern areas of the Mayan empire were largely untouched and in fact grew during this time. It wasn't until Cortes arrived in the 1520s that the Mayan civilization completely ended. Still, you've got to admit, it is quite a mystery!
