This is a situation that was not pretty. A downright bad concrete company had angled this poor woman's driveway facing into her house so that the runoff water would go directly into her windowsills:(
The only solution to the problem was to re-landscape the entire back section of her yard and lower it down 8 inches so that the grass was lower than the driveway. This would cause some of the runoff water to go into her back yard instead. Not all of it though, this is a perfect example of miscommunication. The concrete guys should of talked to her first before building it in such a way.
We did what we could do solve the problem. Thats us tilling over and over and over again until it was lower than the driveway. Wow was it hard work.
