This SFC was my team advisor when I went to SERE IQC circa '85. These methods WORK. Master Guy spent several months developing tactics to be used by evaders who would be weak, starved and not as strong as normal. To effect escape. This program was shortly before or about the same time SCARS was being developed for NSW. Being trained in both, I found that Kun Tao works better as it does not have lot of moves to effect a kill. Take it or leave it.

The whip is a Pencak Silat signature technique. I must say that most old Silat masters learnt a bit of KunTao as there was a Chinese community in Indonesia. But it's not KunTao. KunTao forms are rigid opposed to Silat's fluid forms.

Master Reeders most deadly movements in Kun Tao are totaly fluid, but rarely shown to the public.
