About an hour later the police return

Police 1: You guys were positive the body was in the basement of the house?
Demi: Yes! Of course! Why are you asking this?
Police 2: Hes not there.

With Selena and Nick (a.n hehe!)

Selenas p.o.v
Remember yesterday? When Demi and Joe saw me and Nick making out? Tehheewell Nick started to cry because he saw what Tony was doing to Demi. He was all upset and it killed me to see him like that. Of course I was upset and scared too so I went over to him thinking we could comfort each other even though it was his fault and I was mad at him. I sat next to him and he hugged me while silently crying into my chest. I kissed the top of his head while I started to cry too.

*flashback*

Selena: Joes there now. We have to be strong. She WILL be alright.
Nick: *lifts his head up to look at her* It was horrible Selena! Im soo sorry. This is all my fault.
Selena: Shh its okay. *rubs Nicks back and thinks a bit* *silence* I love you.
Nick: *shocked and happy*You still love me after I lied and got Demi raped?
Selena: *wipes some tears away and slightly smiles* 1.You didnt get Demi raped. You just hit me and we went for help. You didnt mean it. 2.You wanted to make me happy with the house. And it worked for a short while. 3. And well Joe and you got into a fight and you accidentally hit me. Right?
Nick: OF COURSE! You dont think I would hurt you on purpose do you?
Selena: No I dont.
Nick: I love you so much.
Selena: Me too baby. *Kisses him*
Nick: *kisses back*

Selenas P.O.V again
Well yeah thats how it happened. And then I saw Demi petrified and clinging on to Joe for dear life. I felt soo bad for her. And of course being the Demi she isshe tried making a joke but didnt succeed. Me and Nick ran up to her and hugged her as tight as possible. But of course Joe had to ruin the moment by making her leave. He grabbed her and escorted her into his car. It broke my heart to see Demi like that. She was white as a ghost and looked as fragile as a porcelain doll. When they finally drove off Nick took my hand and took me in his car. He told me it was time to go home. I agreed.I didnt want to live life by myself without knowing how Demi was everyday. Now the hardest part. My mother.
