Bad directing, NO discernible choreography, and absolutely the wrong voice for this part. He is not a bad singer, but this role requires an accent that he does not deliver. The tone is operatic at the high points of the song, and that is a horrible fit here. And the end is just shouting.

The singing voice is okay. He definitely could have used some better direction and/or choreography so he wasn't just wandering aimlessly.
