In 2007, the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario produced the documentary, "Fear|Less: Opening Minds about Schizophrenia". This half hour program follows the life of Jesse, a young man who suffered his first psychotic break in his late teens. The documentary is meant to not only bring about awareness of schizophrenia, but offer hope to those who might be encountering this disease for the first time. For more info visit: www.ssoaware.com

  • I hardly ever use my hands when I talk, I guess I don't work for anyone.

  • @educheny No what they are saying is right. It's more commen that a schiozphrenic hurt themselves than someone esle. Im not saying its unheard of but it's highly uncommen. also you mighty want to check a better source than wikipedia. Im not saying they're all wrong but im also not saying they're all right. also suicide is the most commen act of schizophrenics. Now i'd like to point out that both the suicide and violence in schizophrenia only occurrs if the medication isn't being taken.

  • What they are saying about schizophrenia and violence is not true. Current research indicates that schizophrenics are more violent that those with no mental disorder. See the Wikipedia article on schizophrenia as well as the references relating to violence.

  • @coakes48 I haven't ever seen that in the Bible, doubt it is in there. There is no sin for being left handed that I have seen. In the Bible it talks about the outside of the cup being clean if the inside of the cup then the outside will be clean too. So even if this were the case, I would suggest changing being 'of the devil,' and the hand will change on its own.

  • @mollyvital Because our hallucinations are usually very violent.

  • I hope he not right about the handedness, being left handed and all.

  • @jirarachofmine thats great

  • @JoeFGale I have schizophrenia and I have a boyfriend.

  • @mollyvital probaly becouse youre in bad time of your life, depression, etc, and you see other people in circumstances that you feel or hear that they are talking to you, leting you know how bad you are...just my opinion.

  • why schizophrenia ppl always hear voices telling them bad things like ur nothing u should kill yourself etc :( ?
