Veteran elementary school teacher Tim Bedley gives a clear and concise lesson on how to find all the factors of a given number. For more educational videos and teaching ideas, please visit http://www.timbedley.com Sorry about the long intro. I made this tutorial when I was new to this sort of thing. I now know better. ;)

  • Thank you!!! your video gave the crux move I needed to prove that all perfect squares have an odd number of factors, it's amazing how in this simple method you show one of the most beautiful and useful concepts in mathematics: symmetry.

  • @javpaw1 Wow! You're much smarter than I am.

  • How about an easy way to find it for big numbers like 375 etc?

  • @FrankJL09 This tutorial is meant for elementary aged students. I'm not very confident at teaching how to do something like this. Sorry.

  • Your method is SOLID; I love it!

HOWEVER, please note: Even in theses days of high-speed internet; 25 seconds for an intro is an ETERNITY on YouTube.

  • @EmpyreanAcademy I agree with you. We all learn and evolve in our movie making skills and I now regret the intro...notice the video was posted 3 1/2 years ago. And it's quite interesting how many video critics are out here on YouTube who don't post their own "professional" videos for the rest of us to critique.
