This is probably the oldest known colour footage shot in Cyprus.By a German tourist who shot Pambos Katalanos a maker of high heel shoes with some of his clients. He promised to send it back by mail to Cyprus once he developed it and he did.Katalanos had a shop just a few meters from Eleftheria square.Date of film most probably late 40's early 50's.Last few seconds don't know if shot in Cyprus because I cannot recognize the port.

  • Any of that shot in Cyprus?

  • It is in the possession of his daughter.

  • I think it is something by James Last. As for artmaze we are talking about Cyprus.

  • It should have said Kinemacolor, and Im not sure, though its possible. The majority of Kinemacolor films were shot in exotic locations. Ive only watched two, one was in India around 1910, once was the Nice (France) carnival from around the same time

  • Search "Kimemacolor" on Youtube, there is color video from the first decade of the 20th century (1900-1910).

  • What happened to the original film?

  • @Scrabbler27 Think Twice Celine Dion it was driving me mad after I saw your comment had to find out myself.
