  • I fish down by the petenwell dam and guys next to me slay the walleye but I can't seem to catch much. Do you have a recommendation?

  • @bigcountryfahs The hairjigs work good and a lindy rig works great also but most important is where you are fishing below the dam , a good tip is on the east end off the corner of the cement wall in 12 feet of water.

  • i like to "roll" it or float it down the edge of the current into dead water.river walleye fishing is much different then lake.they seem to prefer worms in the river i catch them in. i had a minnow on all day and different jigs, switched over to a a hook n worm for some carp and i caught a walleye. other day i put a worm on a jig with trout scent and i got a walleye. and when they did hit u wouldnt know till the got in close then they would give ahead shake, very suddle
