Please take your dog to the vet. My vet prescribed my chichuahua with a seizure medication as well as valium shots, because sometimes his seizure last longer than two minutes. If they stay in a seizure to long it can cause brain damage or death. I hope this helps.
Give him some honey or syrup and wrap him up tight with a towel or blanket, hold him and talk to him in a calm voice, do not freak out, cause you will freak him out as well.
Small dogs, especially chis, are prone to hypoglycemia which can lead to seizures. If this is the cause, It may help to give the dog regular little snacks instead of feeding him all at once.
this video is over a month so I don't know if it would be of any help but anyway, if your dog is a puppy or a small bread you have to be particularly careful about his blood sugar levels, because if it drops to low he will get seizures. Make sure your dog eats and drinks often, specially after long periods of sleeping or playing/walking. Give him Nutrical to help keeping his nutrients and blood sugar balanced. A few drops along the day would suffice.
idk whats wrong but my dog does similar to yours. from what ive researched so far, it looks like all u can do is talk to the dog and keep it calm the best u can. we are trying to figure out what to do to help our dog. the vet told us that theres nothing they can do. we just have to help her get thru it the best we can. we wish u the best with your dog. my sisters friend said that we have to put a teaspoon of sugar in her water once a week to help her. try honey too. that may help.
