Sh*t Jews say to Converts

This video is funny, but also deeply sad. As a convert, I have unfortunately experienced many of the comments featured in this video. Over time, I have reached out to many other converts and they all have shared their painful experiences and anecdotes with me. Hence, every single comment/insult featured in this video has actually happened to someone before. My intent is, by ways of comedy and laughs, to bring awareness of how some converts and prospect converts are often treated in spite of how important it is to treat a convert with respect. My deepest hope is that one day this video will be a thing of the past.

This is very offensive and not at all funny. Unlike the other videos of this type, the Torah clearly instructs how to regard a convert, and this is not it. For shame.

@iSpitSalivaNotBars no that is false. Converts are very much respected in the Jewish Community because they choose to take on all the 613 commandments. And it's definitely allowed

Also i'm kinda surprised at this video cause the converts i know, we take them for jewish and kind of forget that they even converted. and if they converted properly then they are as jewish as people born jewish. The only thing is that i get really curious about why they chose to convert so i've asked about that, but they are always happy to discuss it.

This isn't even a, "oh, the reform conversion...I'm sorry, we don't accept that in our minyan".

Get converted by a MO rabbi, Chareidim don't accept it. Perfectly acceptable conversion, following Halacha, but no. Chabad? Dem Chassidus? WE ARE MISNAGDIM, NEVAR! Oy. I love my religion, can't stand some of the people.
