The Vail Bridge is where old Rte 220 crosses this line just north of Tyrone
-
Yes this line splits off the main line at Tyrone and goes north to Port Matilda and onwards........the main line follows the river east from Tyrone towards Spruce Creek
-
how much money does 1361 need for her to operate 1.5 to 3 million?

Pennsy 3 chime..

@dcoursey82
sounds an awful lot like an ashton 3 chime

@kd7tqn That's because the ashton and the pennsy whistles both sound the same minor chord...but in this vid, the whistle has that throaty/raspy sound that's uniquely pennsy.

steamtown are a bunch of slowpokes! why don't they send 1361 to strasburg so the work will get done faster?

It's actually not Steamtown that's the problem....they were just letting the Altoona Railroaders Museum work on the engine in their facilities. They never took any active role in helping to restore her, as far as I know.
