This is a demo of how SF2 could have been made for the Atari STE. It was played on a falcon 030 where it runs on 1 vbl. However on a real STE it would run at about 25FPS. You can get it here:

  • @earx23 i dont think it would be possible on a stf or fm since these model aren't blitter equipped

  • i think an ste could do it 1VBL. sprites are huge, but the blitter should be able to handle it. 1VBL on a plain STf would be really really hard. with so much sprite data it would seem impossible to preshift it all.

  • This looks ace. I always thought that surely if the PC Engine can get an awesome prot, then the ST and Amiga should be able to do it too.
