  • That is so wicked! I've always wondered how to amplify a saw (I play the saw without amplification). How and where do you fit the contact mic? What sort of equipment do you need to get that sound?

  • Sorry to take so long to get back to you msawman. The contact mic is a piezo transducer from radio shack soldered to a 1/4" guitar jack. I placed the contact mic near the handle of the saw and just taped it on there to keep in in place. It then runs through 2 distortion pedals, reverb, delay, and into my amp.

  • I think it's high time for a remake of Hendrix's rendition of the National Anthem. LOL
