To me, we hear something it's absolutely rhythmic if we hear two or more sources of sound where the rhythmic patterns are coming from. However, if you play it only on one an instrument gives only a single sound, then you would mostly hear linear playing, which will be obviously heard in rhythmic groupings as each one's ear is used to, but not as a polyrhythmic pattern.

this guy is kaind of crazy i remember in MI he didn't want to talk in spanish kaind of feel ashamed ironic cause he teaches latin music, most of spanish students were mad .

I appreciate where he is coming from but he is wrong in what he states about linear time keeping, there is a very clear perceptual effect that leads us to hear the rhythmic groupings as a polyrythmic pattern, even though the sequence is linear, it is absolutely rhythmic, I find it odd that he suggests otherwise.
haha I love how he didn't talk at all about Evans and in the end he says "and also look for some Evans heads"
