you scrape it wrong. your suppose to pull not scrape. when you scrape, you lift the wax off and sometimes out of the pours. pulling it means you can never remove too much wax and it helps seal the pours.

@FlexAron yes, if your going to wax your board make sure that you have a specifically dedicated iron for waxing
