I advise any Briton watching this to download it and not show any support. It will be shown in America, Canada and Australia a week before us. When we do finally get it, it will be an edited down version of the one shown everywhere else on Earth. Not to mention that our tax money funded just under half of it. Vote with your wallet and don't buy the dvd.

It is from The Chronicles of Narnia and Gladiator, the tracks are blended together about half way through, so it's two different songs

Ah, well maybe in context against some American shows it performs well, and certainly the concept is a solid one (as well as RTD's desire to have the show as an Angel to DW's Buffy), it's just sometimes the execution is lacking. This seems to be mainly the fault of Chris Chibnall who, despite doing sterling work over on Life On Mars, doesn't sit well in the Whoniverse IMO (I wasn't really a fan of 42 either). As a result, the series is often seen as a bit of a joke in the UK.
