Ok, could someone please give me a straight answer. What caused the problem? And the restaurant is fine now right? Because I for think Heston is awesome and one of my biggest idol. Going to eat at the fat duck is on my bucket list.

Its the water content. Bacteria varies from various water sources. People who usually drink tap from europe might not be accustomed with tap in other countries. The water is of other origin.

Hell, i remember that... it wasn't even Fat Duck's fault. Seafood supplier fucked up. Other restaurants who used that supplier were also affected.
