I jumped August 22
Just want to say; the chute that you see almost after we jump out; is not the main. Its called a pilot chute or drogue; it slows down the free-fall speed of the tandem pair. Hopefully that clears a few things up. Free fall was crazy but short; first couple seconds its like your falling, but after that its comfortable. The weirdest part is actually getting to the door; cuz the plane is kinda small, and you have to be on your knees basically crawling to the door, when the door opens its perty crazy. The plane becomes much noisier and the air pressure changes. One main thing when skydiving; adjust your ears CONSTENTLY swallowing worked well for me, cuz think of comming down in a plane, you have about 15 min going down at 200ft/min or a bit higher, i was decending at 10936ft/min (During free fall). So yea, fix your ears as soon as you can.

Safety, u always need that, well if ur beginner.
They are the one who release the chute etc etc.

why do they pull the cord after the first 3 secs and a small dinky shoot comes out? Is it for balance and control? I want to be like those dudes who do 35000ft high where they do flips and circles and whatnot...this might not be enuf for me...lol

Read the description. Its all in there. 35000 would be intresting; but this was still really cool and a great experience. I plan on going again... it was really cool. Plus people that go 2 35000ft are military; they normally don't do flips and stuff.
