Work Extra 104 blasts away from CP25 in notch 8, sending a large amount of smoke into the sky and laying on the horn as it drags 4 heavily loaded concrete tie cars north through Tarrytown on Track 1 to CP58 for the tie replacement project. 104 is a GP35R (ex-PRR GP35 2350). The train started from a standstill at 25 due to the fact that they had to move from Track 2 to Track 1 a few minutes earlier. If you have any questions about the video, feel free to message me. Comments are welcome. The video was taken on September 29th, 2008.

  • of course not, they're state employees and they would never tell a lie!

  • you are WRONG young man. no mta road could lie about it's performance

  • "Attention at Tarrytown, as usual something is late, but we won't take responsibility for it, we will say we are still 98.9% on time. Repeat, its never our fault, we have four tracks and only three trains but that one that says Amtrak or CSX on it got in the way because we couldn't figure out how to efficiently use the other tracks". It PISSES ME OFF how MN has stopped giving reasons for the delay in the announcements recently.
