Andrew and Sarah take the canoe ride along Juniper Creek in the Ocala National Forest. Staring in the Juniper Springs Recreation Area at the Fern Hammock Springs by the Mill house, the beautiful 7 mile run allows you to see alligators, turtles, deer, otters, raccoons, and even the occasional Black Bear. Although we were not really disappointed a Florida Black Bear didn't appear. This video shows alligators, turtles, the beautiful palmetto forest with ancient cypress trees along the run.
@gvmdaddy Oh, and life jackets are included :)

Thanks for the above replies. Really looking forward to it now.

Also, I think it was a few bucks to enter the park, and $20 for the canoe rental which included a friendly pickup.

@gvmdaddy Sarah did have a good time by the end, thanks :)
Just show up, I don't think you can pre-book anyway. Weekends are very busy, weekdays just show up by 10 and you'll be fine. They stop letting people go out at noon regardless.
It took about 4 and a half hours this time, I've done it in 3 and a half before.
We'll do it again, it's always a blast. This trip we saw one alligator, many turtles, plenty of spiders too. We have seen deer and even bigger gators before as well.

Hi there. Well, did Sarah think it was 'fun' by the end?
Best video of this I've seen to date.
Single dad and 10yr old daughter hoping to do this the second week in August.
If you don't mind...did you have to pre-book or just turn up on the day? How much? Life jackets included? How long did it take to get to bridge 19 exit? What wildlife did you see? As a family, did you all enjoy the experience? Would you do this again?
Back to your video...love the inclusion of the underwater footage...fab
