@ELobodeStepario yes a valid point, but sometimes i think we have to let the singer do what they 'feel', instead of them doing it for us, though 'showboating', as it's called, when a singer does it to show us what they're capable of rather than truly feeling the song is very annoying, maybe sometimes though a singer is really feeling it yet it comes accross as showboating, and vice versa of course!

OK. We're coming closer to the point.You know Michael Bolton{off course you know} and his song "How am I supposed to live without you" Wben I heard it the 1st time I said: "Whow,what a Voice"it's true:Amazing Voice.But later I felt that B goes to far,ev'ry time he sings it's like a matter of Life and Death.It's his Song.but the same sung by late Laura Branigan really touched me deeply,she did it with her heart and not to be brilliant,that makes the difference for me.

@ELobodeStepario OK! i don't mind when a singer does this, i'm a singer myself for 25 years. One thing i'm sure we can both agree on is that this man was a truly amazing talent & a phenominal singer, when he goes 'off' from what was written it's just a way of expressing himself vocally, i do this, so does Stevie Wonder, Prince, and just about every other 'real' singer, but if it's not to your taste then i respect that, Mariah Carey is an amazing vocalist but for me she goes way over the top!

Appreciatively I noticed your reduction of the use of 4-Letter-Words, that is really no base for a serious discussion.Maybe now I can objective explain to you whats the displease for me on the Artists presentation.The Voice doubtless is great, but he simply does to much.He presents not the Song, infact only himself,maybe ev'ry Artist does that a little Bit, but in my opinion the Song and the Composer has priority.Think it over.
