Hi OCP ! I'm a new potter and am loving every minute I have my hands in/on/around clay! So happy to have discovered your videos at this early stage . . . I'm learning so much from you! I want my pieces to have life and originality . . . you inspire me! Thank you!

Hi, I like the way you do the trrailing, and I will try it when I have time. Would you pls tell me how you make the background ? I mean before you trailing it, did you dip the piece into another colour ? Or you spray the cup by coloured slip ? Are those cups bisqued before you working on ? Thanks.

That would be great! thanks!
i would like to know how you decorated the teabowls, i love the structure and the different colours, is that sliptrailing with a coat of glaze?
and the decoration on vases number 3 and 4 in your vid, thats what i'm curious about to...
hope it's not to much trouble, thanks again!
blessed be

Cool work Mike! I would like to see that first piece you showed the still frame on...but even closer. There appears to be some layering that reminds me of painting.

Hey there!
Greetings from amsterdam ;-)
love your vids, very inspirational!
Ever tried mixing a little bit of soap in your slip? then take a walk down memory lane and blow in it with a straw... :-) this creates bubbles in wich you can dip your piece. gives a sort of marble effect.
love the colours on your pieces in the vid of august! any chance on more details about the glazes?
happy potting!
blessed be.

thanks man... that's always good to hear, as like most artists I am my own worst critic! Glass is very different, yea, but I think there is a lot that is quite the same.
I can't tell which of your videos show you. Make a video with a gallery of your stuff so we can see!
