@Fimmetin Yeah, I did enjoy the movie, it got me a little confused sometimes but till the end I understood and keept up. But the movie would have been ten times better if all this didn't happen on Mars :) Feels so not realistic as we TODAY know that there not aliens on Mars YET hehe ^^ Oh well I had a good time with friends watching the movie, not a disappointment. :)

i don't know what it is but there is something about this movie that just doesn't interest me and want me to see it. I refuse to see it but I don't know why. I've seen terrible movies before and this one isn't terrible but i just don't wanna go to the movies. It just looks strange with excessive fantasy and fairy-tale.

@Andreea22Lumy cool to see what I also thought, though I came along thinking we bought tickets for Safehouse, if I had known I probably would have till DVD cause Disney made it and trailer does not do a good job...

Why are people saying that this is another Avatar? John Carter is based on the novel "Princess of Mars" by Edgar Rice Burroughs ( John Carter's nephew in the movie). The book was published in 1912. It's ironic at the end of the movie how John Carter tells Edgar (his nephew) to write a book. You should say " Avatar is another John Carter"
