  • defect in vision, not in that which is being looked at..

  • Meaning of this song is the existance in this is word in not real, all are just illusion(maya).the great enlightened master Barthi after gitting the universal truth, he ask the nature about that truth.

  • Friends this is great song about the ultimate truth of the world.yes the enlighten master barathi explain in this song.

  • Thanks for sharing this. Changed my idea about this song. :)

  • Bharathi actually gave a very good explanation for this poem itz found in most of the poem collection books. As a gist of it, he is not happy about the spiritually enlightened people calling the world an 'illusion' or 'maya'. So he gets out looking at everything around questioning in a rather sarcastic tone as to why would somebody consider such beautiful and meaningful things as illusions.

  • Fantastic song. Bharathiyaar - A great devotee of Kaali. Thanks.

  • How are you going to explain this song

  • Why does he call it "kaatchi pizhai" while looking at nature ? Doesn't it literally translate to 'a defect in looks' ??

  • HI friend, It would be a pleasure to explain the deeper meanings of this song. I am a big fan of Bharathi and this song as well. Please do write me if you need me to expalin this fabulous song.

  • What a great song. Even as a Tamilan it's hard to understand the deep meanings this song has.
