She was just peeved she lost her bragging rights. her previous claim to fame was "my cousin plays for Man U" - forgetting he hardly got a chance to play for the first team. Yeah, she was just bitter, and knew nothing about football. If she did, she would have known Sunderland's name, simply because we were always in the news for yo-yoing between Premier League and Championship :P
Also, though Tottenham are a better team now, they weren't really back when this all happened.
