@BrownBrown90 Yes a stripped All things must pass would be a lot better....hope we dont have to wait too long !!!!
-
Brilliant as expected. Love you George.
-
It certainly does not.... do you know what Paul sounds like? The humming voice sounded exactly like the singing voice...
-
@nafaidni That sounds like Paul humming that.
-
Love the humming at 1:35! Very much like the final bridge in the album version, equally as good!
-
George has a thing that all the musicians should have, a heart.
-
@Pcerebro Well, you can certainly hear Ringo (and John?) talking to each other in the background :)
-
@BernieBrownEyes i asked, because i think i hear the voice of paul and john in some parts of the ong... thanks-
-
No wonder he could not wait to go solo he had so much in the tank!

@Pcerebro It's just George singing alone this and "Window, Window" back to back during that same session to the other 3. At these times, also "Let It Down", "Hear Me Lord", "Something", "Old Brown Shoe", "I Me Mine", ATMP, "How Do You Tell Someone?" were all offered by George, and all rejected at least for the time being. It is amazing that only "For You Blue", the weakest of'em all, was the only George song they formally recorded during these sessions. (IMM, OBS & Something were recorded later)

All Things Must Pass is by far the best solo beatle album

When George released All Things Must Pass album I think a lot of people were surprised by his talent which had mostly been kept by the wayside amongst the powerhouses of Lennon/McCartney. That album showed George's genuine caring and compassion....it is still, to this day, one of my favorite albums, with no frills, no promotion, just an album full of feelings and perhaps repressed emotions. God, I miss George!
