2009 SCCA Touring 2 National at Lime Rock - 350Z vs. EVO

Highlights of the Touring 2 SCCA National at Lime Rock - August 1, 2009. The Mitsubishi EVO starts on the pole with Brian Kleeman in the 350Z (camera car) on the outside. David Brand in a Supercharged Lotus Elise chases from behind.

Notice the motor in the 350Z starts dying by Lap 3.

The race is stopped and ends under a red-flag when Ken Payson's Spec Miata hits the spun-out Lotus head on. David Brand was treated and released that same day; as of Monday, Ken remains in the hospital. A full recovery is expected, but thoughts and prayers nonetheless.

I would love to know the mod list for this 350z, it doesn't sound boosted but it pulls hard I plan on getting 1 this spring and I would love to keep it all motor if it pulls like this the suspension seemed perfect and great driving from Brian very well done

@ArthursWRX8U Exhaust is a single straight pipe - no muffler, cats removed. It was LOUD.
