The beat starts at 1:01. Samples: "One Summer's Day" by Joe Hisaishi (from Hayao Miyazaki's "Spirited Away" OST), "Don't Change Your Love" by The Five Stairsteps, Sequential Circuit's Drumtrak's tambourine and 808 bass drum samples.
No external effectors were used (just low pass filter and resonance on MPC-2000XL.)
By any chance the same break as ATCQ - We've Got The Jazz? Still a dope beat though!

@ripaddo Yes, it is same drum break. I chopped it differently though.

You pulled me in to subscribing to you when I first saw that vid of the "93 til Infinity" beat creation. I swear man, 1990-1995 had to be the best years of hip hop and you've been bringin me back to those good memories. Keep it goin my man!

@Skinhitta Thank you for your kind comment, I must agree with you, I had so much fun with hip hop during that time. Of course, my age had a lot to do with it too, but I also think that around early 90s', music scenes were more interesting in general.

Nice as always! btw..I just noticed you have portastudio. I was actually contemplating getting one for a few weeks and recording all my stuff onto tape, prior to computer-archiving (and to be 100% hardware). What do you use it for? How you like it? peace

@fooddudeone I just use it as a mixer. To be honest, I haven't used it for recording for long time. Note that you have to have type II (chrome) cassette, which is very hard to find nowadays. It sounds decent with double tape speed with DBX on, but don't expect anything miracle. But, I guess it does "warm up" sound. I want to get a "real" mixer, as it has only 8 ch., and only 4 ch. has 2 band EQ. By the way, I do have a SoundCloud account, but I haven't uploaded anything yet.
