    " Love, therefore, God"

So god is a combination of nerve growth factor, testosterone, estrogen, dopamine, norepinephrine, serotonin, oxytocin, and vasopressin...

    good to know

"Everyone needs to be humbled now and then."

    Why?

"If Jesus was invited to preach, he might have busted out the whip."

Preaching is an sly and immoral thing to do - but I'm interested in your description of jc [meek and mild] being a whip-toting sadist. Good image!

“If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, even their own life—such a person cannot be my disciple.” Luke 14:26

What a nice guy!! (He actually didn't exist, but wth!)

Hi Alex (we've met before) I place the 'blame' for the most serious and threatening of future dangers on religion, yes. Nothing else comes close.

I agree that the elite and the rich manipulate the world, yes - and that's a danger - but nothing has more power than the mind controlling and bloody death cults of the faiths.

(One of the richest organizations in the world is the RCC - the deepest hypocrites of all!)

Peace - if only we can all wish hard enough.

To be honest, yes, this is a very lost and angry person. I'm afraid this man is closer to "hell" then a human being currently committing atrocious and heinous acts. I'm talking from a christian perspective here, where Jesus has taught that loving people over and above ourselves is the highest call of a follower of the way (as demonstrated by him on the cross). This mans self righteous and judgmental attitude unfortunately draw him further away from Love, therefore, God.

You seem to be very keen to place the blame upon religion (which is a broad category). I think if you take the teachings of Jesus Christ in their wholeness, you cannot find anything more perfect. I think what you need to look at is Humanity. Mankind will take anything, religion or science and eventually use it to fulfill it's selfish desires. World peace? Only when the world is controlled by the elite few through manipulation, murder and oppression. Oh, this day is well on it's way :)

Indeed, cousin. In our first cognitive awakenings we, the animal that is man reflected upon our bestial mortality. This was a necessary, but clearly it's made us totally batshit insane.

Gods & religions, rituals & mysticism were born from the inventive mind of our ancestors in a long gone ignorant savage age where the horrid shrieks of midnight blood offerings were believed to cause the sun to rise. Scared to death.

Tell me, how are you doing?

You might remember SmithyMeTV, whom we had a dixcussion with on here. He messaged me, and when I replied, civilly, signing of with, "I wish you well." He sent me a reply which just said, "You wish me well, I wish you well in hell."

What a terrible person to wish hell (the worst fate that the ancients could think up) upon another person! Don't you think?

It is a cult of fear and blood and burning. Ultimately, they're all scared of death.

    Live long.
