Russia, Nazi Germany, Communist China, Japan during WW2, Spain in the 1500's, France in the late 1700's, and Britain used to be pretty bad. He's right that we've done all that but every race in the world has been enslaved at some point in the histoty of the world. None of it should have happened and if we're gettng better than we're gonna have to get by that other stuff. Not forget it, but not talking about how bad America is isnt helping.

If we dont recognise the problem and talk about it , how are we gonna change ?

I hate to be rude but I can't see your logic. A black man is our President. They get more government money than they know what to do with and they get preferential treatment when choosing their universities. As a matter of fact being black America might be one of the best gigs going.

There well over 24 million black people today in USA.
and only a handfull have succesfully lived the american dream.
For every oprah winfrey , theres hundred of thousands living in poverty ,
why ? this aint accident , and yes we got black people in power , but they dont really have power.

I am a woman, but I felt bad for blacks when they were oppressed and discriminated against in the 60s. That has changed and blacks do not have it worse than any other people here. My native ancestors were forced to leave and walk thousands of miles in sub zero weather, by the Govt., and thousands died from exposure, illness, freezing to death and hunger. Blacks now have it way better than Native Americans. Why you feel sorry for blacks and not others who have it worse is beyond me.

i feel sorry for the native americans too , and they still loosing land ,today iam aware of that .
however it is reported that over 100 million africans were brought to america , in the time of slavery , which went on for 400 years. and today we have like 20 million black people in USA, thats a big drop in numbers.

It was the African Chiefs who sold their own people after having them kidnapped and taken from family. It irks me to hear blacks who have made much money from success and having all sorts of resources available to them to complain about the past. The past is the past and it's time to shut up about it and build a better future. Our country is not even 400 years old so you err. We are all going through some type of slavery due to our present 'president' but blacks have it as good as anyone else .
