i admire u for being brave,but i dance hula and teach it to kids,maybe u need to look at some how to dance hula video first.
dont stop dancing, just do more research on it or find a teacher. best of luck!

I sent a message to expert village to remove these videos from their lineup as she obviously isn't an expert in either Tahitian nor Hula. She is doing it completely wrong! And for those of you who say it doesn't matter because it still looks nice, it does matter to those of us who understand what the dance is suppose to mean. It's our culture not just a something to done to "look nice". I hope they remove her videos.

kalami- you need to take classes. You are a very beautiful dancer, but please don't teach these- these are not pa'a (correct).
