This is the 3rd in a 3 part series of videos about the Fujitsu Q550. In an effort to provide comparison between the OEM install and a Clean install of Windows 7 Pro this video is provided to show the user experience after a Clean Install. Results may vary. Part 3 is primarily Web based video from you tube and netflixe along with a restart and an added on flash program from the web.

  • Additional info.

Using a GoPro camera I wanted to see how stock video off that device plays. The 1080p video off the go pro via USB cable played perfectly smooth. Format is .mp4.

  • do you think you need a screen protector .. will the pen scratch the screen?

  • @emoindiechav

I bought the screen protector, but haven't put it on yet as I haven't felt I needed it and the pen experience is quite good as is.

  • Super useful series, thanks a lot.

Pity about the 480p fullscreen, though. Not sure if new drivers and/or new flash version could help...

Just a gut feeling but I think they will eventually. The hardware is there and capable at least on paper.

  • @cmcdeed1 Oops, sorry for GMA, it's 8.14.10.2020

  • @cmcdeed1 Well you can always use System Restore or Driver Rollback if the Intel drivers gives problem. According to Adobe Flash 10.3 requirement, only Intel GMA driver version 8.15.10.2021 & above supports GPU acceleration so that could be the reason your Full-screen performance is below par.

  • This is the recommended from Fujitsu. But I like to tinker so might wait a month ar two and as things settle down start trying out a few options and updates.

  • Try Opera web browser... it should makes pinch zoom and scrolling much smoother!

  • @cmcdeed1 Thx for the info. The GMA driver version looks like it isn't the latest. Have you tried to update it using Intel Driver Update Utility? Might help the FPS... (Hopeful) ;-)
