I think that hit's me the most is that this is reality. This isn't a made up story. This will happen to us.. You either end as Ellie or as Carl. And that makes me really upset. Having to share your whole life with the person you love. And ending up alone. This movie really touched me, and when I'm an old lady, I will think about this and smile. :)

This is one heck of a masterpiece. This whole scene just is perfect. It makes me smile, it makes me laugh, and dear lord does it make me cry--and not just a 'single tear down the cheek' cry, I mean full on sobbing. I may be a bit anxious about Brave, Pixar's up and coming movie, but UP will always remain one of my absolute favorite Pixar films, along with just my favorite films in general. <3
