@about43cats I believe Schmeling wasn't Nazi.. In othrer hand rescue of Jews in the WWII was an ordinary way for some "high ranking" Nazis ( and in Hungary "Nyilas") to secure their own life after the war.
The game: Max was better but in the end he've slept; first time on his legs after on the ground...

@dontheguy1 He also hid two Jewish kids. I hate how Baer made Schmeling look like an evil Nazi (Baer never even cared about his Jewish ancestry until this fight).

@ihatelifejosemartine Schmeling met with Hitler And many other high ranking Nazi officials, Although yes never joining the party, In fact Schmeling rescued two Jewish Boys that were being attacked on Kristallnacht.

Both guys were misunderstood. Baer was a showman but became very good friends with Joe Louis and most know the Schmelling story. He did detest the arian-nazi movement and literally took care of Joe Louis financially in later years. They were very close. Max became a successful sode distribution owner.
