2. Rocka Rolla (Tipton/Downing/Halford)

Man eatin' momma, steam driven hammer
Sorts the men out from the boys
Takes no messin', all in wrestlin'
Is one of her pride and joys

She a classy, flashy lassy
Imitation sapphire shine
Two faced liar, full of fire
But I know the flame is mine

Rocka rolla woman for a rocka rolla man
You can take her if you want her
If you think you can
Rocka rolla woman for a rocka rolla man
You can take her if you want her you can

She's a grip and choke ya
Heavy smoker
Wrong side of the law

Midnight shady
Good time lady
Heavy, ready show you what for

Barroom fighter
Ten pint a nighter
Definite ninety-nine

Diamond cluster
Knuckle duster
Feline on the borderline

Rocka rolla woman for a rocka rolla man
You can take her if you want her
If you think you can
Rocka rolla woman for a rocka rolla man
You can take her if you want her you can

  • This is a serious, vintage fucking tune.

They just don't make 'em like they used to, do they?

  • Love this song! Underrated Priest right here

  • anyone want coca cola?

  • @nuppert Well yes, I only call it a farewell tour since the band's saying they will probably only do occasional gigs afterwards. They will still release albums though. Either way, I'm sure you got the point. It is definitely the last time many people will get to see them live again.

  • @drquesadilla It's not a farewell tour. It's their last world tour. They will probably still make new albums and tour.

  • @nuppert Yeah I later found that out. I'm a bit disappointed; Never Satisfied is a great song, but Halford has played it at his solo shows in the last ten years whereas this number hasn't been performed since the mid-70's. I would think the guys would seize the farewell tour as an opportunity to bust it out one last time, would be quite a treat, but I guess you can't ask for everything. Still is gonna be a kickass show!

  • @drquesadilla At graspop they played "Never Satisfied".:)

  • I sure as hell am hoping "one song from each album" includes this gemstone right here

  • Fucking epic album this is.

  • oh goddamn this is good.
