Temple of Rats—another "true faith"

Shown here is the temple of Rats. Rats are holy in this religion and when one alights on your head it is considered a blessing. This shouldn't shock you because you are also prone to believe fantasy scriptures as being true history with sensible laws.
How does a person know that they are Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, Jew or Rat worshiper? Those identities were handed down from a succession of parents to children. Their family trees date back to when their ancestors were the first to be indoctrinated into a silly superstitious belief. A belief or faith is by definition something that can't be substantiated or it would be considered universally to be accurate history.
There is a popular saying used to alert people to be wary of being duped or scammed. "If it sounds too good to be true it probably is." The saying is not used to warn people about being duped by the major religions. There is a hidden code among the media that religion is off limits less they lose their source of revenue. My not so popular saying is that "If it sounds like a fantasy it probably is." I don't know about you, but a staff dropping to a floor and turning into a snake, two of every specie marching in lock step onto an ark, a Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve, Heaven and Hell, Ghosts, Fairies, Gods, life after death, all sound like fantasies to me. Of course I am not a cleric. Clerics have an answer for every question on their religion, but are they sensible answers?
Nobody should be considered an Atheist. If you don't believe in anything you are being taught, you shouldn't be labeled with what some people think is a derogatory label. It is impossible to prove a negative so a person with a positive should substantiate it. I know that I can't prove there is no God. I can't prove that Superman isn't real either, no one can. They both sound like obvious fantasies to me.
My technique discoveries prove that all the sports scientists, coaches and authors are dead wrong. Get the full information and demonstration of the bad techniques from my other videos at: www.youtube.com/jacknirenstein Dont miss my video Sports/sex/religion Premier Expert.

  • It is easy to say that God made it plain, but the fantasy sounding stories should give any reasonable person reason to pause. No matter what your religion is, most people in the world do not believe in it or your God. Religion is the biggest scam in the world. There are no answers known for the questions you say that you have answers for, and you cannot prove them. I am just someone who does not believe in everything I hear. Especially if they sound like more of the fantasy stories.

  • Are you F-CKIN kidding me? I'm a Hindu (a devout one too) but I despise rats.

  • @JeffThePoustman seems to me that this jack fellow is much more enlightened than you are. The omnipotent, omniscient god you're referring to could not conceivably be as simple as you make him out to be. Don't criticize an argument with no proof other than your faith to back it up.

  • filthy dirty hindus..slumdog beggers!

  • Did Jack actually appear in any of his videos-- or were they cleverly invented hoaxes, using actors, CGI, camera tricks?

Proove that you exist. Proove that any historical figure existed, or did anything in particular.

My point: if you want to criticize based on epistemology don't stop partway. You faux intellectuals commend common sense when it suits you and denigrate it when it does not.

"What may be known about God is plain... because God has made it plain." We will all be judged thus.

  • I saw that documentary. We must believe in all religions or they might cast doubt on yours.

  • He isn't joking, folks. This temple was featured on a PBS documentary a few years ago.
